Ne Zha 2, the animation film, continues dominating the box office in China, even breaking box office records.
Ne Zha 2 is the direct sequel to the 2019 film Ne Zha and the third film in the Fengshen franchise following the 2020 film Jiang Ziya; the series is loosely based on the novel Investiture of the Gods and currently it is the highest grossing film for 2025. The film also broke the record for the highest single-day gross of a Chinese animated film. In this episode, after the events of the first film Ne Zha and Ao Bing must respond to dangerous sea monsters.
