SHANG-CHI 2 - Release Dates and Plot

Marvel Studios already announced that there will be a continuation of its box office hit SHANG-CHI: THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS. Marvels Studios successes in the past few years however does come with a price, with so many of its films are in the works (Deadpool 3, Captain America 4 ... etc.) for sequels some may take several years to complete and that includes the second installment of their film SHANG-CHI. Rumors say the earliest we could see this film is going to be sometimes in 2025. As of now Destin Daniel Cretton is still the only known person assigned to the project as writer and director.

THE NEW PLOT

No official plot has been released yet about the new film but speculations say we could probably see Chang-Chi's sister Xialing being in focus as she was supposed to be shutting down her dad's terrorizing organization but seems she has opted for the ten rings for her own use. We yet to hear from Marvel for the official story but for now that seems one of the best scenarios for a new story.

Marvel is also expected to bring be most of the main cast with the only member who's not likely to return is Wenwu (Tony Leung), partly because he died and partially because his arc was done by the movie's end.

Shang-Chi 2: Simu Liu will be back with filming starting in 2026, and release date is set for 2027
